Unveiling our new Creative Space

It’s a transformative time for inkdesign – we have moved to a new ‘home’ within the city’s creative district; still at the Briggait, in a space that will better accommodate us and the needs of our clients.

The Briggait, a category A listed building, was originally used as Glasgow’s fish market until the late 1970s, and is now home to artists’ studios.

We’ve been putting our creative influence on this space; with a complete refurbishment allowing for work station areas, much needed additional storage space, a kitchen and, importantly for clients, a private meeting room.  And there’s light…lots of light…light that we’re going to enjoy utilising!

18 years on…

Our team comprises architects, architectural assistants and other support staff. Residential design remains core to the practice but, with some key projects happening within the commercial landscape, we continue to diversify; with work encompassing a variety of commercial, residential and community projects.

The move marks the next step in our journey, coming on the back of the practice’s 18th anniversary in May.  Managing Director, Maurice, comments:

“As the practice moves out of its teenage years, we need a space that will offer us more freedom and, in doing so, allow us to further capitalise on our continuing growth. This great new space will help us achieve this.”

If you have any questions on the move, or indeed any other queries, please get in touch. You’ll see that our address has only slightly changed, however, our phone number and all other details are the same.

We look forward to sharing this new chapter with you.
